Huenah Mary Alcorn, native of Korea
Huenah Mary Alcorn, 71, of Lewes, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Newark.
She was born in South Korea Feb. 28, 1943. Huenah met the love of her life, Joseph Blades Alcorn while he was stationed in Korea during the Korean Conflict. She moved to the United States 50 years ago and began a new life with her loving husband.
She will be forever cherished and loved by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Blades Alcorn.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, May 2, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may visit any time after 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Lewes.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Huenah's name to Delaware SPCA, 22918 Dupont Hwy., Georgetown, DE 19947.
