Milton fence decision draws ire

May 11, 2014

I am writing to object to the Milton City Council decision to put up chain length fences around the water tower, near the park and public works.  I am upset about the style of the fence, which reminds me of a prison except for razor wire.

I know that Milton received a Homeland Security grant about six years ago. Why now? Most of all, I am so disappointed that the city council did not ask for public input. Should I remind the members that you are representing us? A petition opposing this fence has been signed by many residents. Let our voices be heard and acted upon.
