Five stars, five years for Loftus Wealth Strategies
Michael Loftus, owner of Loftus Wealth Strategies in Bethany Beach, has recently been named a Five Star Wealth Manager for 2014. Five Star Professional is a company that researches and recognizes outstanding service professionals.
Loftus Wealth Strategies is preparing to celebrate its five-year anniversary in the area this spring. “This award is a wonderful nod to my professional work, and happens to coincide with our five-year anniversary. I take great pride in caring for my clients, and so this recognition is terrific,” said Loftus.
With more than 26 years in business, Loftus started his boutique financial services firm in 2009. Some questioned the timing, given the stock market crash in 2008, but Loftus found the timing perfect.
“Given the volatility of the financial markets starting in 2008, people were looking for someone to trust, to reassure them and provide solid guidance about their portfolios.” said Loftus. With careful planning, Loftus moved his business to the area specifically to cater to a small client base in order to provide big business experience to the individual investor.
“That’s part of what I do best and enjoy most - I provide a high level of experience, with hands-on attention.” said Loftus. “I enjoy the challenge of helping my clients achieve their dreams and desires.”
Loftus Wealth Strategies offers investment advisory services, featuring individualized strategies to protect, save, accumulate and manage his clients’ portfolios. “I deliberately maintain a small client base in order to provide focused attention for my clients, and I plan to cap my service at 125 households,” he said.
Loftus’ service is both individualized and all-encompassing, offering wealth management and financial planning, legacy planning and more. Loftus also offers free financial educational programs, or workshops, which boost financial wellness. The next workshop is scheduled for July 17 at Cripple Creek Country Club in Dagsboro.
