Morgan has credentials that Lewes needs

May 9, 2014

We have known Rob Morgan for a few years and realize what a hard working individual he is. After graduating from college he served as a lieutenant in Vietnam, winning a Bronze Star. He then went on to earn both his MBA in finance and his J.D. in law.  Rob’s financial background will assure that our money is budgeted in a wise, conservative, fiscally responsible manner. How lucky can a small town like Lewes be - getting the talents of a man such as Rob.

Rob’s law degree will serve us well also. He can investigate all issues that come before us and offer sage advice to city council on the potentially litigious matters that arise.

Rob is currently serving the citizens of Lewes on the planning commission and finance committee, the vestry of St. Peter’s Church, as secretary on the council of Osher Lifelong Learning and as treasurer on the board of the Lewes Homeowner’s Association.

We believe he will work well with the other members of city council to ensure your tax dollars are used wisely. He will be capable of providing valuable input  regarding upcoming issues such as the new library, annexation, growth and the city’s financial reserves.

He is supportive of the recent council decision to hire a part-time planner in 2015. We feel this is a sound decision and will help city council determine whether there is a need to add a full time position in the future.

When you have a chance to elect someone with Rob’s credentials who is devoted to Lewes and its citizens, why not seize the opportunity?

Please vote for Rob Morgan May 10.
