Kudos to Rehoboth VFW smoking ban

May 18, 2014

Kudos to VFW 7447, Rehoboth Beach, for going non-smoking. We enjoyed a fun night Friday, May 2, attending karaoke with DJ Nancy. They had a good crowd.

All private clubs (American Legions, Amvets, Moose Clubs , Elks, etc.) and organizations should eliminate smoking in their facilities, and this would not hurt busines,s as there are not any other indoor places you can smoke. They have even stopped smoking outdoors, in parks, on the boardwalk and at the beaches.

Delaware needs to get on board; look at our surrounding states who have eliminated smoking in their private clubs and seem to be doing just fine. Once again congratulations to VFW 7447 in Rehoboth Beach for being concerned with the health of their members and guests.
