Cape baseball falls in seventh to St. Georges 7-6

The Cape Henlopen baseball team moved to 7-6 on the season with a 7-6 non-conference loss to St. Georges Tech at Chris Short Field May 2.
David Kennedy went 2-for-4 on the day with a home run and three RBIs. David Kwan had three hits in the Vikings' loss. Drew Mulcahy had a double for the Vikings.
In the top of the seventh inning, St. Georges' Tyler Campbell led off with a double, stole third base, and scored the game-winning run. Hawks pitcher Lance Gilbert struck out the side in the bottom of the seventh for the win. Campbell went 3-3 with two RBIs while Quenton Hamrick and Logan Gilbert contributed two hits and an RBI each.
