Lewes library offers summer computer classes starting May 21

The Lewes Public Library will offer a series of free computer classes from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesdays this summer in the computer lab on the second floor.

Wednesday, May 21, in Word 2010 for Beginners, participants will learn how to create, edit, save and print Word documents. Wednesday, May 28, students will learn how to set up and use a Gmail email account.  Wednesday, June 4, is an Internet Searching Essentials class.  Wednesday, June 11, participants can try Social Media 101. This class offers a broad overview of the social networking trend with examples of some the popular social networking sites.

The second half of the summer will include an Excel 2010 for Beginners class July 30, a Word 2010 for Beginners class Aug. 6 and Facebook for Beginners Aug. 13, where students will learn to connect with friends but still protect their privacy.
