The Cape soccer squad moved to 7-3-1 on the season with a 3-0 shutout of Laurel May 1 at Champions Stadium.
Mallory McDonald opened the scoring with a goal at 26:49. That score held up until the 62:46 mark, when Shelby Thomas drove home a shot with an assist from McDonald. Maddie Smith finished the scoring with an unassisted goal at 79:35.
Cape outshot the Bulldogs 8-0 and was awarded 20 penalty corners to the Bulldogs' nil.
Laurel goalkeeper Nicole Shirey made five stops.
