The Oak Orchard Boys & Girls Club held a community day April 26. The event was hosted by its tobacco prevention program Smoke Stompers and by K-kids, a part of the local Kiwanis Club who raise money for a program to provide mothers with tetanus shots so their babies will be born healthy.
The day consisted of an adult and child volleyball game, a Rocking for Babies fundraiser and a tobacco prevention speech inspired by Miss Teen Delaware. It was an informative and free family fun day for Boys & Girls Club members and visitors.
Boys & Girls Club members enjoy a volleyball game with their neighbors.
