Sponsored by Camp Rehoboth
May 18, 2014

Approximately 300 people gathered along the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach Sunday, April 13, to attend CAMP Rehoboth’s Fourth Annual Broadwalk on the Boardwalk. The group included breast cancer survivors, other cancer survivors, supporters, community members, and many festive dogs. Over $9,000 was raised to benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

The event was part of the 2014 Women's Fest Weekend and allows men and women to come together to honor the lives of those who have died from breast cancer, and all cancers, to celebrate those who have struggled with breast cancer, and to educate others.

The hardworking committee who organized the event included Kathy Wiz, Muriel Hogan, Kathy Davison, Debbie Cutler, and Connie Holdridge. Sponsors included CAMP Rehoboth; SSD Technologies, which matched $2,500 of funds raised; music sponsor DJ Sharon/Dune Tunes; photography sponsor Geri Dibiase; Karen Gustafson, Realtor for Long and Foster Rehoboth; Lori’s Café; Natalie Moss and Evelyn Maurmeyer; and Julie Peters and Joan LeLacher.
