Watercolor society to celebrate 10 years May 13

May 11, 2014

The Delaware Watercolor Society will celebrate its first 10 years of success as Delaware’s premier watercolor society with an Anniversary Party Tuesday, May 13. From the founding five members, DWS has grown into a highly productive organization of nearly 100 members.

Special prizes will be awarded for a “throwback” contest matching the artist with an early work, plus many more surprises. Award-winning Paige Ruby will share a special presentation on her approach to watercolor abstracts.

Delaware Watercolor Society’s Second Tuesdays are monthly meetings open to the public. Doors to the Glade Clubhouse, 16 Glade Farm Drive, Rehoboth, open at 9:30 a.m. Meetings are free to members and $10 for guests. Door prizes and refreshments are offered. For more information, contact Isabel at 302-684-1457.
