Pennoni hires Carter Hyde as Regional Water Resources Manager

Pennoni Associates, an award-winning engineering, design, and consulting firm, has announced that Carter W. Hyde, PE, has joined the firm as a regional water resources manager. He previously worked as an engineering manager for ATCS, P.L.C.

“Carter is a proven leader and the natural choice to manage our water resources operations in the Delaware and Mid-Atlantic markets,” said Pennoni Vice President Bruce Jones, PE. “His credentials and technical expertise will enhance our overall water resources capabilities, and his presence in the Mid-Atlantic area will provide a valuable service to our local clients.”

Hyde obtained a BS in civil and environmental engineering at Clarkson University. He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies. Hyde is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland and Delaware, and maintains his certification as a Maryland Department of the Environment and State Highway Administration sediment and stormwater plan reviewer.

With over 21 years of experience providing water resources and environmental-related consultant services for public agencies throughout Maryland and Delaware, Hyde will be responsible for assisting in the strategic development of the Water Resources Division at Pennoni.

He will focus his efforts on engineering and construction-related consultation services for public and private entities. Hyde will specifically be targeting the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System permit holders across the Mid-Atlantic region.
