Sussex Tech transformed into ocean enchantment for prom

Sussex Technical High School hosted its annual junior-senior prom May 3. The school’s cafeteria and gymnasium were transformed into an Ocean Enchantment for the affair.

The evening began with the traditional Grand March on the Georgetown Circle. The school extends its appreciation to the owners of The Brick Hotel for allowing the students to use their establishment for the backdrop of the march. A beautiful warm spring evening provided the perfect atmosphere for the students as they paraded around The Circle for family photos.

Following the Grand March, students returned to the Sussex Tech campus for a full course dinner catered by Food by Design. Then there was dancing in the gymnasium.

The evening was climaxed by crowning seniors Kierian Firch of Milford and Corrine Stewart of Seaford as the 2014 Prom King and Queen. Named Junior Class Prince and Princess were Matt Rogers and Kim Herrera, both of Georgetown.
