VSA Delaware invites the community to experience the world of creativity. The organization has announced Celebration of Creativity 2014, a visual arts exhibition showcasing artwork created by VSA Delaware program participants. This exhibit will be on display at the Arts Center/Gallery, Delaware State University, May 19-June 30.

The opening reception will be Thursday, May 22, 5 to 7 p.m., in the Arts Center/Gallery in the Library Building, DSU, Dover. This event is open to the general community and admission is free.

Celebration of Creativity 2014 presents artwork created by individuals with disabilities. Exhibit artists, primarily K-12 students, created artwork through unique arts education programming facilitated by VSA Delaware. Program participants/students participating in these programs were able to experience an integrated curriculum that provided artistic instruction, as well as opportunities for communication and self-expression.

VSA Delaware is an arts education nonprofit organization whose purpose is to help create a society where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts.
