Geocache Dash & Bash Returns to Wicomico County Saturday, June 7

Wicomico County will launch its newest geocache trail on Saturday, June 7 at the Geocache Dash & Bash.  Cachers can get started on the new trail, the Geocache Dash, beginning at 7 a.m.  After the Dash cachers and the community are invited to celebrate at the Geocache Bash.  Held at WinterPlace Park, the Geoache Bash begins at 2 p.m.  Both the Dash & Bash are free and open to the public.

Wicomico County’s Geocache Dash is a geotrail designed to introduce people to some of Wicomico County's hidden treasures.  In addition to land locations throughout the County, two boat-only caches will be featured in the 2014 Geocache Dash, allowing cachers the opportunity to experience some of Wicomico's beautiful waterways.  Kayaks will be provided on the day of the Geocache Dash & Bash free of charge.  The Geocache Bash celebration offers cachers and the community a chance to relax after the Dash with entertainment, door prizes, vendors, a corn hole tournament and more.
