NAIFA-DE held its 41st annual Career Conference May 13-14 in Dewey Beach at the Hyatt Place and The Baycenter with keynote speaker Ed Slott, CPA.

Slott has been named “the best source for IRA advice” by the Wall Street Journal. Slott provided two hours of continuing education for the conference attendees on the ins and outs of planning for distributions from IRAs and other qualified retirement accounts. The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) is a statewide association with more than 240 members.

“This year’s conference was a nice success with over 200 advisors in attendance,” according to Dan Reisinger who served as the conference chairman and will be the associations president this coming year. “Our conference has never been held in Sussex County in its 41 year history and we were not sure what to expect. Our sponsors, vendors, members and guests all had a great time and comments were positive across the board. We hope to be back next year and continue to bring high level speakers and great networking opportunities for our members and guests.”
