Green Shaman brings healing to Kaya Wellness in Rehoboth

May 27, 2014

Local shaman and energy healer Nate Metz announced at the grand reopening of Kaya Wellness & Yoga May 11 that he is bringing his business, The Green Shaman, to the services offered at the new location downtown at 43A Rehoboth Ave.

Metz offers two main services at Kaya: Chakra Balance and Star Energy Healing, with an option for aromatherapy add-ons. The Chakra Balance service is a legacy healing passed down from his shaman; it channels energy into each chakra. The Green Shaman will diagnose each of the seven major chakras and balance them to a unified and corrected rotation. Included in this service is a spine cleansing and aura dusting.

The Star Energy Healing is performed within the medicine wheel using techniques taught by Metz's spirit guides and ancestors. This healing targets the energy star deep in the very core of being. With use of a specific ray energy and healing crystal, the vibration and pulse of one's core star will be restored to a radiant energy pattern. This healing is best suited to support major life changes, reverse the feeling of being stuck in a rut, and to bring an uplifting positivity into one's life at any time. Included in this service is a totem to take home. In addition, Metz will offer periodic healing circles open to the public with more details to be released at a later date. Additional shamanic services may be available upon request.

Metz is a local SoDel shaman and a member of the Rainbow Nation Tribe. Classically defined, as a shaman, Metz is a wounded healer. After facing a health crisis and beginning recovery, he incorporated shamanic healing with a holistic approach to his health. He began his walk on the medicine wheel in 2012. He then completed his core training with The Medicine Woman in 2013, blending knowledge of chakras, the aura, crystals, essential oils, herbs, and traditional Native American shamanic practices. In both private and group sessions, he can assist on the path to improve well-being; remain centered in daily life; reduce stress, anxiety, and depression; restore health; live in balance with other people and the environment; protect from negativity; expand awareness and consciousness, and ultimately live a fulfilling life on the Earth plane.
