Senate candidate participates in Parkinson's walk

June 4, 2014

Claire Snyder-Hall, a candidate for the Delaware Senate 6th District, attended the Cape Henlopen Senior Center, Lewes Senior Center, and Parkinson’s Pancake Breakfast and Walk-A-Thon in Rehoboth May 17.

“Since our campaign is focusing largely on seniors, I am happy to participate in this event to support our local senior centers,” Snyder-Hall said. “And with a million seniors suffering from Parkinson’s and an additional 50,000 or more being diagnosed each year, we need to keep searching for treatments and hopefully a cure.”

Snyder-Hall, second from left, is shown on the Rehoboth Boardwalk with (l-r) Sonny Meier, Mary Lou Rust, Ireka Rickards, Gerald Rust, and Lynda Meier.
