Lewes in Bloom volunteers turned out recently for the opening-day event in Stango Park, providing children with hands-on experience planting vegetables and herbs. Children created stepping stones to use in the garden.
Activities will continue through August on Mondays and Thursdays. Go to lewesinbloom.org for details.
