Wicomico Recreation & Parks Presents Pemberton Park After Dark
Gather your friends and family for an adventure at Pemberton Park - After Dark on Friday, June 13. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a finger lickin' good chuck wagon meal. Dessert will be packed up "hobo" style before venturing out for a hike in the woods. During the hike, look and listen for fox, coyote and flying squirrels as they are lured in with electronic devices and learn to identify a variety of frogs by their calls. The evening will conclude with a bonfire where participants will enjoy music, dessert and roasting marshmallows. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight and chair.
Pemberton Park is comprised of 262 acres of forest, field and wetland habitats and 4.5 miles of nature trails located at 5561 Plantation Lane in Salisbury.
