General contracting and construction management firm Gillis Gilkerson has announced the addition of project managers Matt Esham and Jason Rudd to the company in the first quarter of 2014.
As project managers, Esham and Rudd are responsible for estimating, business development and overall project management of new and current construction projects. Both have experience in construction planning, management and design.
“At the base of every project, from renovating a small office to building a large hotel, is a construction project manager,” said Dwight Miller, president of Gillis Gilkerson. “We look for professionals with wide-ranging experience, qualifications and a healthy portfolio. But more importantly, the role of project manager requires individuals who are devoted to customer satisfaction, schedule and budget on every project from beginning to end. We found this quality in both Mr. Esham and Mr. Rudd.”
Esham brings experience in pre-construction services, feasibility analysis, budget oversight, bid proposal, cost estimating/control, architect and engineer interface and total quality management.
