Belcher-Stack installed as GFWC Delaware State Federation president

Henrietta Belcher-Stack was installed May 23 as president of the GFWC Delaware State Federation of Women's Clubs to serve in the 2014-16 administration.

The GFWC Delaware State Federation of Women’s Clubs comprises 23 clubs with over 1,000 members statewide.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs GFWC is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

GFWC honors its motto, Unity in Diversity. Its members are encouraged to focus their efforts on community service programs and special projects.

Belcher-Stack has served as DSFWC Sussex County vice president for the past two years and is past president of the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club in Lewes and the GFWC Indian River Women's Club in Millsboro.

Belcher-Stack serves as vice president of WSFS Bank in Millsboro; she is a Certified Senior Advisor and a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional.

She is also a member of the 2010 class of Delmarvalous Women of the Year and 2013 Delaware Tech and the Owens Campus Alumni Association’s Women’s Day Celebration honoree.

As her president’s special project for DSFWC, Belcher-Stack has chosen Inside Knowledge. This campaign will be undertaken to raise awareness of gynecological cancer issues in women.
