The Overfalls Foundation had its 15th annual opening party and auction May 23 at the Virden Center. Funds raised during the event support the ongoing effort to restore and maintain Lightship Overfalls LV 118 in Lewes Canalfront Park.
This year the foundation will christen the Monomoy, a restored lifeboat, and on Wednesday, June 4, will dedicate the newly opened American Lightship Museum. For more information about the Overfalls Foundation, go to overfalls.org.
