Rehoboth named a Top 5 family beach
ABC Travel Guides for Kids has named Rehoboth Beach one of its top five East Coast beach destinations for families and children.
Rehoboth ranked fourth on the list for its fun family shops, restaurants and Boardwalk. The guide also cited the city’s accommodations and recreational options, from Funland to cycling.
Matthew Rosenberger, publisher of ABC Travel Guides for Kids, said he visited every location on the list with his children and found Rehoboth ranked very high in activities for families. He called the city an outstanding destination spot for kids.
ABC Travel Guides for Kids publishes all-in-one alphabet, souvenir and activity books designed for children. The top ranking for family-friendly East Coast beaches went to Atlantic City, followed by Miami Beach, Cape Ann, Mass., Rehoboth and North Carolina's Outer Banks.
