Never Try To Sell A Vacant Home!

- Private group -
July 6, 2014

Statistically vacant homes sell for less and stay on the market longer than furnished homes. This comes from a survey conducted by The Real Estate Staging Association. Only 10% of buyers can visualize the potential of a vacant home. You can have your vacant home staged by a professional home staging company or you may want to consider a less costly alternative. Consider leaving a few focal pieces behind. You can supplement those pieces with inexpensive items picked up at yard sales or items from one of our great local resale shops. Ask your mover to factor in a return visit to pick up furniture used to stage your home and donate the rest back to a local thrift shop. With a little extra effort you may end up getting a better offer on the house you are selling
