'Murder at the Juice Joint' dinner theatre set June 21 and 22

Milford Senior Center returns to Roaring 20s

All are invited to take a trip back to the Roaring 20s, the age of gin joints, flappers, and gangsters, at the Milford Senior Center’s Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, “Murder at the Juice Joint.” Performances will take place at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 21, and at 5 p.m., Sunday, June 22,  at the Milford Senior Center, 111 Park Ave., Milford. For "Murder at the Juice Joint," the Milford Senior Center will be transformed into a 1920s speakeasy. Ticket holders will be given a password to enter; reserve tickets to receive the password for murder intrigue.  During the evening, audience members will interact with the staff and patrons of the Juice Joint as they work together to solve a murder. The cast of "Murder at the Juice Joint" Dinner Theatre is made up of members of the Milford Senior Center and community members active in local theater.

In keeping with the theme, guests will enjoy a 1920s-style dinner.  The dinner will feature crudités with dip upon arrival followed by a served hors d'oeurves plate with deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail shooter, and roasted ham-wrapped asparagus, followed by a served Watergate salad. A buffet-style dinner features baked ham, roasted Cornish hen with stuffing, roasted potatoes, and fresh vegetables. Topping off the meal will be pineapple upside-down cake.  Coffee and ice tea accompany the meal. The bar will also be open with themed drinks. Gluten-free and vegetarian meals are available upon request.
