Burton Builders and Zorzi Creations support Epworth Skate Project

June 8, 2014

Local contractors Randy Burton, owner of Burton Builders, and Mike Zorzi, owner of Zorzi Creations, recently teamed up to support Epworth Skate Project. “Randy and I are excited to be part of the Epworth Skate Project. We both have kids who love skateboarding and this will most certainly be a wonderful place for all who enjoy the sport. I believe our joint donation will represent what we try to achieve in our everyday business and personal lives, a sense of working together to help the community that does so much for us,” said Zorzi.

The Skate Project is set to begin construction of a concrete park in July at Epworth UM Church on Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth. The park was designed by Jesse Clayton, owner of 5th Pocket Inc. and will be constructed by Evergreen Skateparks, based in Portland, Ore. Construction is expected to take four weeks.

Donations and sponsors for the project are still being sought. For more information go to www.eumcrb.org/sk8 or call Susan Selph at 302-245-6193.

Standing on the site of the skate park are Randy Burton and his son Bennie, left, and Mike Zorzi and his son, Jaimin DiDomenicis.
