Must Read! Condo and HOA Documents! You have purchased a home! Congratulations! Now is time for you to read all of the documents thoroughly. Follow the community by reviewing association minutes, and find out if there are any proposed changes to the by- laws, covenants,  and restrictions. If it is a new community find out about road completion and pool construction.  Ask about special assessments. Are their any coming up in the future? Information regarding "for sale" signs, pets, fences, parking,  landscaping, property maintenance, bike paths, sidewalks, exterior alteration, community pools and more are all spelled out in HOA and Condo documents. Most contracts have a deadline for you to go over the documents. Make sure you adhere to the contract terms for reading and approving the documents. Protect yourself. Read!
