DAR inducts new member on 91st birthday

Donna Horvath, regent of the NSDAR Chapter Major Nathaniel Mitchell of Georgetown, presented a Memorial Day wreath at The Circle in Georgetown May 25.
Peg Hudson of Georgetown became the newest member of Daughters of the American Revolution Major Nathaniel Mitchell Chapter of Georgetown. The chapter's registrar, Helen Evan, searched a long time for the details to connect Mrs. Hudson to an American patriot. It was a dual celebration - 91st birthday and her swearing in ceremony which took place at the chapter's year-end luncheon.
