Kings Creek honors recent veterans by waiving initiation fee for club membership

June 13, 2014

In recognition of Memorial Day and the upcoming Saturday, June 14 Flag Day, Kings Creek Country Club announced it has instituted an Honor Our Veterans program to reward men and women who have recently been serving honorably in the military.

Under the program, until December 31, the club is waiving the initiation fee for such veterans to join Kings Creek as full club members.

Kings Creek General Manager Gary Wheeler said, “For current veterans who are relocating to Sussex County, or who are joining the many who visit Rehoboth Beach on weekends and vacations, we want to help facilitate their ability to participate in the dining, golf and other sport experiences at Kings Creek Country Club by waiving the initiation fee as a gesture of thanks for their service to our country.”

To qualify, the applicant must have been on active duty in any of the branches of the military on or after Sept. 11, 2001. Whether they remain on active duty, or have subsequently retired, all applicants must include valid military credentials with their application. Qualifying new members under this program will have access to all club privileges and amenities as a full club member.

Applications for the program can be downloaded from www.kingscreekcountryclub.com or picked up from the Main Office at 1 Kings Creek Circle, Rehoboth Beach.
