Cape players take part in Delaware Lacrosse Foundation All-Star games

Cape Henlopen High School was represented well in the Delaware Lacrosse Foundation Blue vs. White Senior All-Star games held June 11 at Wesley College. The Blue girls' squad defeated the White All-Stars 18-14, while the boys' White team downed the Blue 18-9.

Vikings Allie Yeager, Kat Judge and Karalyn Joseph played for the White squad,  which featured other players from Tower Hill, Dover, St. Mark's, Brandywine, Glasgow, Red Lion, Caravel Academy, Concord, Smyrna and Tatnall.

Cape's Allie Yeager scored six goals, while Kat Judge added three and Karalyn Joseph scored one.

On the boys' side, the White squad had Cape players Grant Gillan, Todd Keen, Blake Mann, Thomas Ott and Luke Benson. Cape head coach Jack Lingo assisted Bob Gilmore from Polytech.
Teams having players on the White squad were Sallies, St. Mark's, Caesar Rodney, Polytech, Sussex Central, Delmar, Red Lion, St. Georges, Middletown, Dover, Caravel, Appoquinimink, Glasgow and Sussex Tech.

Blake Mann scored twice for the White squad, while Thomas Ott and Grant Gillan each tallied one goal.
