People of Lewes deserve praise

June 19, 2014

We just wanted to let you know how we were blessed by some folks in Lewes June 7. We were going to visit friends at West Bay and had been there before and thought we knew how to get there. Somehow we missed one turn and when we tried to call our friends, found our cell phone dead. We stopped at the Lewes Fire Department where they were having a barbecue and asked for directions and the people there were very helpful. We also asked if we could use someone's cell phone to call our friends. A very kind lady ran to her car to get her cell and let us make the call. Then we were traveling on Camp Arrowhead Road looking for our destination, stopped to ask a lady who was working in her yard if she knew where West Bay was. She very kindly got into her car and lead us to our destination.

We felt that the people of Lewes would like to know what a great impression this kindness made on us and what a great representation of your community.
