Horace Mann awards bikes to Georgetown students with perfect attendance

June 30, 2014

Horace Mann agent Susan Collins sponsored the Perfect Attendance Spells Success program at Georgetown Elementary School for the 2013-14 school year. Six students had perfect attendance, qualifying them for a drawing to win a bike. The program awards a bike to one girl and one boy, and Karina Martin and Rovin Sanchez won the bikes.

Collins routinely provides support to local schools through PASS and other programs and says, “Horace Mann is named after the 19th century legislator and education reformer who is also known as the Father of American Education. It’s an honor to carry on the work of our namesake by helping the people who give so much to take care of our children and who work tirelessly to assure they have a strong future.”
