KSI receives grant from Safeway Foundation

Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. received a grant from the Safeway Foundation in support of its health and wellness center upgrades. Safeway employees, through payroll deductions, provide grant funds.

Safeway shares KSI’s mission and embraces abilities nationwide by employing individuals with disabilities. KSI is a not-for-profit agency providing vocational training and employment services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.

The current health and wellness center is in need of updated modifications. Funds donated through Safeway will enable KSI to be more attentive to the personal needs of the individuals being served. KSI is committed to making all reasonable accommodations in order to ensure that its programs and services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
