July 8, 2014

Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. recognized Dinah Marshall of Harrington with its Clifford T. Crouch Excellence In Service Award as Outstanding Staff Person of the Year 2013 during KSI’s 52nd Annual Awards Dinner.

The award was presented at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover during an event which attracted nearly 200 guests to gather in celebration of Abilities.

Marshall joined the KSI staff in 2002 as a driver in KSI’s transportation department. While KSI appreciates the flexibility and compassion that motivate her to consider others before herself, she gives thanks to an agency that has provided so many opportunities to her. Marshall finds personal enrichment through helping others.

In addition, each Employee of the Quarter 2013 received a plaque from KSI; a Senate tribute sponsored by Sen. Gary Simpson, R-Milford; and a House of Representatives tribute cosponsored by Rep. Harvey Kenton, R-Milford; Rep. Jack Peterman, R-Milford; Rep. Dave Wilson, R-Bridgeville; and Rep. Bobby Outten, R-Harrington. KSI named Kim Strunk Employee of the Year 2013, and she also received a $100 Visa card sponsored by Dover Federal Credit Union.

KSI is a not-for-profit agency providing vocational training and employment services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.
