Bateman joins Homewatch-Concierge in Rehoboth

Homewatch-Concierge, a boutique property management company for vacation homeowners in coastal Delaware, recently announced that Tjark Bateman has joined the company as a principal and operating partner.

“I knew this year the organization was at a crossroads. If we wanted to grow, yet maintain our strong personal connections to clients, we needed to bring in a partner who was invested in the outcome,” says founding partner DJ Hill. “Tjark was a natural fit. He has lived in downtown Rehoboth most of his life, and he shares the same expectations in service culture from his many years at Boulevard Ford. The fact that he was a personal friend was a bonus.”

Bateman brings 25 years of customer service-driven experience from his work in his family business, Boulevard Ford Lincoln in Lewes and Georgetown. A graduate of High Point University with a business degree in economics, Bateman and his family live in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

“While working in our family business has been rewarding, I am excited about this new opportunity to join DJ and the team at Homewatch-Concierge. They have built a great reputation and solid client base,” said Bateman. “I look forward to bringing my commitment and experience in customer service to help accommodate the growth the company has been experiencing. I have already hit the ground running.”

Established in May 2012, Homewatch-Concierge has experienced steady growth by helping clients eliminate the burden of managing a vacation home from afar. As the single point of contact and local advocate, Homewatch-Concierge maintains and monitors homes in their absence and provides concierge services while they are here. Their staff of professional house managers, maintenance technicians and housekeeping associates provide comprehensive services such as homewatch inspections, maintenance and repairs, and housekeeping. Concierge services can include arrangements for everything from grocery shopping and furniture delivery to personal chefs, trainers, massage and yoga.
