July 7, 2014

On June 29 a memorial benefit was held for the family of Brandon Robertson who was killed in an automobile accident May 29; his best friend Anthony was a passenger in the vehicle.

The family and friends of Brandon Robertson and Anthony Huling would like to thank the following businesses for their generous contributions to make our first fundraiser a success:
Nage, Big Chill Cantina, Lewes Fish House, Edible Arrangements, Pat's Pizza, Pizza Villa, Grottos, Dewey Beach House, Brighton Suites, Dave Kincaid, Coastal Salon , Liquid Surf Shop, Laura's Flowers, Arena's Deli,
Ice House Bait and Tackle, Phillips Marine, Tanger Outlets, Lewes Rehoboth Moose Lodge, Auto Zone, Delaware Distilling, Crabby Dicks, Greene Turtle, Dragon’s Lair, Hickman’s Meat Market, Bill's Sport Shop, Movies at Midway, Radio Shack, Fifth Ave. Jewelers, Silk & Sand Florists, Applebee's.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our volunteers: Stephanie Littleton, Douglas Layfield, Matt Cowley, Monica Armstrong, Vicki Apostolopoulos, Victoria Wolverton, Josh Clendaniel, John Wolverton, owner of  Wolfman Dj Service, for providing the music, Lewes/Rehoboth Moose Lodge for providing their center, Jamie Burroughs, Lisa Moore and Keely Stevens.

The support of family and friends at this event was amazing as was the help and donations from local members of the community. We will be holding another event to celebrate Brandon’s life in the future to continue to help the families affected by this tragedy, and to lighten the burden of Brandon’s passing.
