The 5th Annual Delmarva on View Photgraphy contest and exhibit reception benefiting the Lewes Library was held June 28 at the Lewes Public Library. The contest, which expanded to include scenic images from the entire Delmarva Peninsula, drew 147 entries in five categories. These categories were Delmarva Icons, Four Seasons, Get on the Bus:The Delaware Bay and Atlantic Coast, The Golden Hour:Sunrise/Sunset, In Flightand Ground Patrol:Wildlife and Speacial Effects. The curator for the exhibit is local photographer and writer JuneRose Futcher who specializes in maritime and sailing photography. The Exhibit will be in the library until Aug. 16 with 30 percent of the proceeds from print sales benefiting the library.
