Maggio Shields Sand, Sun & Fun Team holds wine tasting to benefit Sussex Consortium

July 10, 2014

The Sand, Sun & Fun Team at Maggio Shields Real Estate, made up of realtors Deb Griffin and Celeste Beaupré and assistant Betty Raymond, along with Dave Hill of Outlet Liquors, hosted a wine tasting June 27 at the Maggio Shield offices as a benefit for the Sussex Consortium.

The Sussex Consortium is the county’s program for children with special needs, including autism. Accepting the $1,500 donation was Dr. Vivian Bush, Sussex Consortium principal. This donation has been earmarked for the Life Skills Center, the consortium’s program for 18-21-year-olds. Betty Raymond, the team’s administrator, and her spouse, Linda McClintock, a teacher for the Life Skills Center, adopted a son with autism in 2010. Catering for the event was provided by Colette Fugere.

Holding the big check are (l-r) Bush, McClintock, Raymond, Griffin and Beaupré.
