New Social Security office open in Lewes

A waiting line forms outside the new Sussex County Social Security office at the Vineyards at Nassau Valley, off Route 9 in Lewes. Business operations at the Georgetown office ended June 27. Office hours at the new location will remain the same: 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday.
Free parking is available and public transportation is available via DART bus 206, which will have a stop located near the entrance.
