Artist Rendel presents Cottage Tour homeowners with paintings

RAL's annual home display takes place July 8-9 in Rehoboth
July 7, 2014

The Rehoboth Art League hosted a June 27 Patron Party for the 2014 Cottage Tour home owners, sponsors, patrons and volunteers who make the annual tour a great success. The 150 attendees were an indication of just how popular this tour is. Featured artist Paul Rendel presented each homeowner with a framed original oil painting of their home.

The Tuesday and Wednesday, July 8-9 Cottage Tour will include seven exceptional private homes and the art league’s historic Homestead. J. Conn Scott, tour underwriter, has begun the interior makeover of the Homestead. Scott has outdone his annual design this year, and it is sure to wow all who visit the Homestead during the tour.

The self-paced tour takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. There is free parking at Rehoboth Elementary School at 500 Stockley St., and the art league provides Jolly Trolley shuttle service to each home on the tour.

Tickets are $30 per person and may be purchased at rehobothartleague.org, by calling 302-227-8408 and at these locations: in Rehoboth Beach,  Rehoboth Art League, 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres; RAL annex, 510 Rehoboth Ave.; Bellinger’s Jewelers, Browseabout Books, Early Attic Antiques, Farmer Girl Exotic Gardens, J.
