Premier Centre for the Arts announces auditions

Premier Centre for the Arts announces auditions for the Delaware School of Musical Theatre, a scholarship program that awards monthly tuition scholarships to 50 qualified students at its Middletown and Milton locations. Over $24,000 in scholarships were awarded last season.

Students major in music, dance, acting, musical theater, or triple threat. With each of these majors, students will be given the opportunity to hone their technical skills as well as afforded many performance opportunities. Each major requires students to take a technical class, a private lesson, and an ensemble.

PCA focuses its performance-based educational programs on nurturing well-rounded performers. Hundreds of students study weekly in the educational programs, and many participate in over 200 performances each season. The facilities include a concession area, retail store, recording studio, video/photography studio, dressing rooms, costume/prop/set shop, rehearsal studios, and the theater.
