Watercolor journaling with chocolate scheduled for Aug. 5
Milford artist Rosemary Connelly of Live Cheap & Make Art Studios will conduct a watercolor journaling workshop, Create Tasteful Memories with Chocolates & Watercolors, from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Sweet Serenity Chocolates, 1001 Norman Eskridge Highway in Seaford.
Connelly has been teaching watercolor journaling workshops since 2009 in Delaware and beyond.With a few simple materials and easy exercises, she creates an encouraging atmosphere that gives her students the confidence to try it and succeed.
For this workshop, chocolates from Sweet Serenity will provide the inspiration. All the tasty creations are handmade in the shop. Since 2011, owners Chris and Rachel Benjamin have been Creating Tasteful Memories, One Sweet Bite at a Time. Each buttercream truffle is hand-dipped from homemade recipes in many original flavors from fresh ingredients, without preservatives.
The cost for the workshop is $45 a person and includes a selection of chocolates. Class is limited to 12.
