McGuiness protecting Rehoboth environment

July 11, 2014

Kathy McGuiness is my choice for Rehoboth Beach commissioner and should be for all Rehoboth Beach voters!

Kathy McGuiness’ productive history and dedication to public service has served all Rehoboth residents fairly and wisely. To preserve our beautiful and natural environment, she presented the first draft of the tree ordinance to the city, fought for natural lake buffers, supported and listened to the experts for the ocean outfall. She was part of the planning process for our new municipal complex. As a former downtown business owner, founder of Rehoboth Beach Main Street, Chamber of Commerce member, RAL member, supporter of the Rehoboth Beach Museum, and member and supporter and advocate for Rehoboth Beach Sister Cities Association, Kathy has been instrumental in, and a solid supporter of, many Rehoboth Beach organizations and projects.

She was the leader in resuming the July Fourth Fireworks in downtown Rehoboth many years ago and is a tireless fundraiser to continue that wonderful display every year. She has always been a driving force and passionate voice for citizens’ concerns. We are lucky to have her on our side as residents and property owners!

If you want results, energy and an advocate for balance, vote for Kathy McGuiness for commissioner Aug. 9!
