State Parks Sandcastle Contest constructs at south side

The 34th annual Delaware Seashore State Park Sandcastle Contest took place at the Indian River Inlet south side July 12, where young and old alike formed their ideas into reality along the Atlantic Ocean.

The 12 and under category was won by Team Sky's Village with team members Joey Ajalli, Reza Ajalli and their Tall Castle with Stairs.

The open category was won by team Lancaster that created an alligator. The team consisted of Dennis Shelly, Kelly Shelly, Justin Shelly, Megan Groff and Steve Groff.
