The Rehoboth Bay Sailing Association celebrated its 51st birthday July 12 with a day of free sailing clinics.
The southeast wind and sunny skies were a perfect combination for association members to show off their skills in the Sunfish division's race during the afternoon.
Located just south of Dewey Beach off Route 1 on Rehoboth Bay, the association offers some of the best sailing Delaware.
The association is a not-for-profit founded in 1963 that promotes sailing. For 51 years, the association has been teaching sailing and renting sailboats to Delawareans and beach visitors.
The association has four racing fleets: Sunfish, Hobie, Catalina 25 and Lightning. The association plays host to several important regattas a year.
