(Cape May, NJ)  Today, Cape May-Lewes Ferry officials proudly announced their third consecutive TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence Award for consistently achieving outstanding customer reviews, maintaining high levels of hospitality and providing excellent service for passengers. This honor is awarded exclusively to the top 10 percent of businesses ranked through TripAdvisor worldwide.

“We are excited and honored to once again receive the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence,” said Jennifer Shivers, Customer Service Manager at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry.  “Our continued goal is to provide our customers with a truly unique and memorable experience traveling across the Delaware Bay. It has been our commitment to exceed customer expectations, and receiving this award for the third year in a row is truly a testament to the caliber of service from our employees.”

To earn the coveted TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence Award, businesses and tourism destinations must maintain an overall customer satisfaction rating greater than 4 on a scale of 1-5.   The Ferry service attained a rating of 4.5.  In its 50th Anniversary summer season, the Cape May-Lewes Ferry continues to be tuned into the customer and laser-focused on their experience.   The goal is to exceed the customers’ expectations every day.

As one first-time ferry traveler and her family reviewed, “We were all so pleasantly surprised on how beautiful the ride going over to Delaware was. It was about an hour and a half ride and I must say how impressed we were... I would highly recommend this for a family outing. What a perfect fun trip!”

“TripAdvisor is delighted to celebrate the success of our affiliated businesses around the globe, from Sydney to Chicago and Sao Paulo to Rome. TripAdvisor travelers also get a great customer experience,” said Alison Copus, Vice President of Marketing for TripAdvisor for Business. “The Certificate of Excellence award provides top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers.”
