Memory Café July 28 at CHEER Coastal Leisure Center in Ocean View
Memory Café, a gathering for people with memory loss and their caregivers, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Monday, July 28, at the Ocean View CHEER Coastal Leisure Center, 30637 Cedar Neck Road, Ocean View.
This month’s program will be relaxing in the cool indoors with games, photos and refreshments. Memory Café is open to the public and free of charge; an RSVP is requested by July 22 for food orders, if possible, but not required.
Memory Café is organized by CHEER, Delaware Hospice, and the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. It provides a safe environment for people with memory loss and their care partners to laugh, learn, and be socially engaged with others who are traveling the same journey. This is not an adult day program, nor one that provides personal or medical care. The caregiver/family member is responsible for their loved one.
