State Parks programs receive Division of the Arts support

Many programs and events planned for the remainder of 2014

Thanks to the support of the Delaware Division of the Arts, Delaware State Parks has many programs and special events planned for the remainder of 2014.

Statewide programs include National Storyteller Bil Lepp, who will be visiting Delaware Seashore State Park in Rehoboth Beach Friday, July 25, and both the First State Heritage Park in Dover and Killens Pond State Park in Felton Saturday, July 26. Lepp brings his tall tales and hilarious life experiences to life during shows that are both free and family-friendly.

Family performances are scheduled in several state park campground theaters for the remainder of the summer. Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes will welcome Miss Jackie for a Campground Sing-Along Wednesday, Aug. 6, as part of the park’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Other parks offering Campground Performing Arts series include Killens Pond State Park, Trap Pond State Park, Delaware Seashore State Park and Lums Pond State Park.
