UNICO plans bocce tournament fundraiser for Sept. 13

The Delmarva Chapter of UNICO held its monthly meeting at the home of President David Jones. Plans for the Annual Bocce Tournament to be held Saturday, Sept. 13, were discussed.
Funds raised from this and other events will be donated to local and national charities such as food pantries and cancer and mental health associations.
UNICO also strives to support Italian culture and language. The monthly meetings often include celebration of Italian holidays and customs, and demonstrations or lessons on making pizza dough, pasta, mozzarella cheese, and more.
